About CyberISolve — A Toronto Cybersecurity Team

We're a cybersecurity and IT services team built around a simple idea: security work should be thorough enough to actually hold up, and clear enough that you don't need a security background to understand what we found and why it matters.

What we do

CyberISolve provides managed security services, incident response, penetration testing, network security, cloud security, and vulnerability monitoring, alongside day-to-day managed IT support for growing businesses. We work with organizations that need real protection without the overhead of building an in-house security team from scratch.

How we work

Every engagement starts with understanding what you're actually trying to protect and what's realistic for your size and budget. We'd rather recommend the three fixes that close 90% of your risk than sell you a stack of tools you'll never fully configure. Findings are documented in plain language, prioritized by real-world impact, and followed up until they're actually resolved — not just logged and forgotten.

Security practices we hold ourselves to

We run our own infrastructure the way we'd tell a client to run theirs: rate limiting and automated abuse detection on every request, encrypted credentials at rest, session isolation tied to IP and device, and a published responsible disclosure policy for anyone who finds an issue in our own systems. Our practices are informed by guidance from the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security as well as industry frameworks like OWASP and NIST. Our team & expertise

Certification requirements differ by role, and our team's credentials reflect that rather than a single one-size-fits-all badge. A baseline of CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and Cisco CCNA is common across the team, with additional, role-specific certifications layered on depending on what someone actually works on day to day:

Why CyberISolve exists

Most small and mid-sized businesses fall into a specific gap: too small to justify an in-house security team, but exactly the size that makes them a practical target — not because attackers single them out individually, but because under-defended, under-monitored systems are what most automated and semi-automated attacks are actually looking for. We started CyberISolve to close that gap without asking a business to either accept the risk or overspend on enterprise-scale tooling they don't need.

Most of our clients are small and mid-sized businesses in healthcare, financial services, legal, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce, professional services, logistics, and non-profits — organizations with real risk and real data to protect, but without the headcount to run a full-time security operations team in-house. Where we work

We're based in Toronto, Ontario, with on-site support across the Greater Toronto Area — Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan — as well as Durham Region, Hamilton, and Waterloo Region (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph). Most of our security and IT work is delivered remotely, so we also work with businesses across Ontario (including Ottawa), throughout Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, and Halifax among them), across the United States, and internationally. What we've written about

We publish case studies and practical guidance from real engagements on our blog — including detailed write-ups like our ClickFix WordPress malware clean-up case study. We write these because the security industry has enough vague, keyword-stuffed advice already; we'd rather publish something specific enough to actually be useful, even if that means it's less broadly shareable.
