How We Work

Good cybersecurity isn’t about buying the most technology. It’s about understanding risk, prioritizing what matters, and implementing effective controls that fit the business. Every engagement, whether it’s a single assessment or ongoing managed security, follows the same five-step process.

1. Understand

We start by learning about your business and technology environment, not just the systems in place, but how the business actually operates, what would hurt most if it went down, and what resources and constraints you're working with. Security recommendations that ignore this context usually don't get implemented.

2. Assess

We identify vulnerabilities, risks, and priorities through a mix of technical assessment (network, endpoints, cloud, configuration) and conversation with your team about where the actual pressure points are. The goal is a clear, ranked picture of risk, not a raw list of every possible finding.

3. Recommend

We develop practical, right-sized solutions based on what the assessment actually found, not a standard package applied regardless of fit. Recommendations are explained in plain business language, with the reasoning and trade-offs made explicit, so you can make an informed decision.

4. Implement

We deploy and configure the required protections, working around your business's operating hours and constraints wherever possible to minimize disruption. Implementation includes documentation, so the resulting setup isn't a black box only we understand.

5. Improve

Security isn't a one-time project. We monitor, support, and continuously strengthen the environment as your business and the threat landscape both change, through managed services, scheduled reviews, or periodic reassessment, depending on what fits your ongoing needs.

The first step is always the same: a conversation about where you actually stand.
