Services

What does a managed cybersecurity service include?

Continuous monitoring of your systems and network, threat detection and triage, patch and vulnerability management, and a direct line to our response team, delivered as an ongoing service rather than a one-time project. See our Managed Security Services page for the full scope.

Does my business really need cybersecurity monitoring?

If your business relies on technology to operate, email, customer data, payment processing, remote access, monitoring is what catches a problem while it’s small instead of after it’s already caused downtime or a breach. The right level of monitoring depends on your risk profile and budget, which is exactly what an initial assessment is for.

How often should penetration testing be performed?

Annually at minimum, and after any major infrastructure change, a new public-facing application, a cloud migration, or a merger. See our write-up on what a penetration test actually involves for more detail.

What’s the difference between IT support and cybersecurity?

IT support keeps your technology running, helpdesk, servers, networks, day-to-day fixes. Cybersecurity focuses specifically on protecting that technology and your data from unauthorized access, attacks, and misuse. The two overlap constantly in practice, which is why we offer both under one roof rather than requiring two disconnected vendors.

Can CyberISolve work with our existing IT provider?

Yes. We regularly work alongside an existing internal IT team or outsourced provider, focusing specifically on the cybersecurity gaps they may not have the specialized capacity to cover, rather than replacing the relationship.

Do you support remote employees?

Yes, secure remote access (VPN or Zero Trust, with MFA enforced) is one of the most common things we set up and audit, and our managed security and monitoring services work the same whether your team is in one office or fully distributed.

Do you provide emergency incident response?

Yes. Our incident response team is reachable 24/7 for active security incidents, ransomware, compromised accounts, data breaches, or anything that looks like an active attack. See Incident Response or contact us directly if you’re dealing with something right now.

Pricing & Fit

How much does cybersecurity cost?

It depends on your business size, current environment, and which services you need, there isn’t a single number that applies to every business. What we can say is that pricing is scoped to actual risk and budget rather than a one-size-fits-all package; the fastest way to get a real number is an initial conversation.

What size businesses do you support?

Most of our clients are small and mid-sized businesses, typically without a large internal security team, but with enough technology dependency that security genuinely matters. Services are scoped to fit that size, not adapted down from an enterprise offering.

Compliance & Risk

Can you help with cyber-insurance requirements?

Yes. Cyber-insurance applications increasingly require specific controls (MFA, EDR, backup practices, incident response plans) to be in place before coverage is issued or renewed, we can help assess what you currently have against what’s typically required and close the gaps.

Can you help us prepare for compliance?

Yes, within the scope of practical security controls that most compliance frameworks require, access controls, monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and documentation of what’s in place. We’re not a compliance auditor or legal advisor, so we work alongside whoever holds that role for your specific framework.

Location & Availability

Do you provide services outside Toronto?

Yes. We’re based in Markham, Ontario, with on-site support across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and remote-delivered cybersecurity and IT services available to businesses across Canada, the United States, and internationally. See where we work for details by region.
