OT & ICS Security

A practical, honest starting point for securing operational technology and industrial control systems, an emerging area of our work.

Who this is for: Manufacturing and industrial businesses running operational technology (OT) or industrial control systems (ICS) alongside their regular IT environment.

The Problem

OT and ICS environments were historically built assuming isolation from the internet and from corporate IT, an assumption that rarely holds true anymore, and a compromise here can mean physical, not just digital, consequences.

Our Solution

We start where most OT security work should: understanding what’s actually connected, how IT and OT networks meet, and closing the most common and highest-impact gaps first.

What's included

We’ll say this directly: OT and ICS security is a specialized discipline, and we approach it with a practical, honest scope, focused on network segmentation, remote access, and asset visibility, the foundational work most industrial environments actually need first, rather than claiming expertise in specialized ICS protocols or safety-system engineering we don’t have. If your environment needs deeper OT-specific engineering, we’ll tell you that directly and help you find the right specialist.

Benefits

Our Process

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide deep ICS protocol-level security engineering?

Not currently, we focus on the foundational network segmentation, remote-access, and visibility work most industrial environments need first, and we’ll be direct if your specific need calls for more specialized ICS engineering expertise.

Is this relevant if our OT network is already air-gapped?

It’s still worth verifying, “air-gapped” networks frequently have an undocumented connection (a laptop, a remote-support tool) that quietly bridges them to IT, and that’s exactly what an asset discovery review checks for.
